Charlotte transitioned into financial advice during maternity leave and the Covid lockdown, following a decade-long career lecturing in undergraduate Equine Science and postgraduate teacher training. She officially launched her own financial planning business in January 2022.

Since then, Charlotte has received national recognition, including winning FT Adviser Rising Star of the Year 2025 and being named Highly Commended Wealth Manager of the Year at the Investment Week Women in Investment Awards 2024. She has also had an article published in FT Adviser examining gender bias when selecting a financial adviser and has provided expert commentary for The Telegraph and Money Marketing.

Changing career proved to be one of the best decisions she has made. She draws on the skills and experience gained from her lecturing career, alongside the knowledge acquired through her MSc in Education. Her mission is to make financial advice more accessible, relatable and empowering, particularly for women, families and business owners. Charlotte is passionate about helping clients feel confident, informed and in control of their financial futures. Witnessing clients gain clarity and confidence through financial planning is one of the most rewarding aspects of her work.

Charlotte is a strong advocate for encouraging more young women to join the financial services profession and for inspiring more working mothers to take the leap into running their own businesses, both within and beyond the finance sector.

She uses social media, particularly Instagram, creatively to connect with people who may never have considered seeking financial advice before, breaking down jargon and challenging stereotypes in a human, engaging and inclusive way. Operating remotely enables her to work with clients across the UK, offering a flexible, modern approach that resonates especially well with younger generations.Charlotte is currently growing her family alongside her business, having welcomed a baby girl last September and raising a six-year-old son. She is honoured to have been invited to join the panel at the PFS Conference 2026.
